In the best interest of the Continuing Legal Education Regulators Association ("CLEreg") and the users of this website, we collect only the minimum amount of information necessary to serve our customers. As voluntary unincorporated organization, CLEreg's purpose is to provide an opportunity for the discussion and exchange of information relative to MCLE. As part of this exchange, CLEreg makes certain data available through an online service - "CLEreg's Official Reference Guide to MCLE Requirements" ("The MCLE Guide," "The Guide" or "Guide") CLEreg will not collect personal information about you when you visit its website unless you voluntarily choose to provide that information by entering information in an online form, sending an e-mail, registering for an automated service subscription, or by performing an online service transaction.

Data Collection

If the purpose of visiting this website is to review web pages or download information, certain information will automatically be gathered. Your web browser software transmits most of this information; however, this information does not identify you personally.

  • You may be asked for your e-mail address in order to process various applications or transactions available its website. (for example, The MCLE Guide, Comments/Feedback, Surveys or other online services or transactions.)

CLEreg already maintains, or may acquire, certain organizational or contact information through its normal regulatory association functions.

As a member driven association CLEreg may maintain documents and information for archival and historical purposes; however, it does not collect personal information for any purpose other than to respond to you or for other purposes required by law.

When you choose to provide personally identifiable information to CLEreg, such information is handled as it would be on an in-person visit to an Administrative Office, and subject to the laws, regulations, practices, and procedures of the respective agency.

Security

CLEreg is committed to ensuring the integrity of the information and systems it maintains. As such, CLEreg has instituted security measures for all information systems under our control so that information will not be lost, misused, or altered.

For site security purposes and to ensure that our Internet services remain available to all users, CLEreg uses software programs to monitor traffic and provide online services. In the event of authorized law enforcement investigations and pursuant to any required legal process, information from these sources may be used to help identify an individual or individuals.

CLEreg's MCLE Guide subscription information is password-protected for your privacy and security. In certain areas, as with credit card transactions, industry-standard secure socket layer (SSL) encryption will be used to protect data transmissions.

All credit card information is immediately encrypted upon receipt and authenticated through the use of 128-bit SSL communication.

CLEreg is not responsible for and does not endorse, guarantee or monitor the views, products or services offered on other websites.

Changes to this Policy

CLEreg may revise this policy at its discretion. If changes are substantial in nature we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our pages. This is a statement of policy and should not be interpreted as a contract of any kind.

Refund Statement

As part of a commitment to provide ongoing service and access to up to date MCLE data, CLEreg offers secure online payment for subscription fees. Requests for a refund or waiver of fees should be sent from the party requesting a refund to the attention of the appropriate contact party indicated in on this website. Requests will be reviewed on an individual basis. In the event a fee is deemed eligible for a refund, the amount will be refunded or appropriately credited within a reasonable amount of time as to provide for transaction of service.
